UmicoPos mobile app (iOS, Android)

Description: This mode of integration involves installing the UmicoPos application on a suitable smartphone and its further operation. All purchases using Umico card are made through the UmicoPos app. With this type of integration, there is no technical connection with partner's cash registry software

  1. Mandatory: A smartphone or tablet with Android operating system version 5.0 and higher with an active Google account (account for the Play Market) or A smartphone or tablet with iOS operating system version 10.0 and higher and an active Apple ID (account for the App Store).
  2. Required: Continuous wireless (Wi-Fi) Internet connection at the branch where UmicoPos application will be used or A continuous mobile Internet connection with mobile traffic of 500-750 Megabytes at the branch where the UmicoPos application will be used (recommendation: Azercell GencOl 2 package ).
  3. Mandatory: If the company uses Firewall, add permission to send requests through the UmicoPos application.
  4. Mandatory: A smartphone or tablet must have a camera to easily scan the barcode of the card and photograph in high-quality the receipt after purchase.
  5. Mandatory: Constantly charged device on which the UmicoPos application is installed.
  6. Mandatory: Quick access to the login and password for entering UmicoPos in case you need to re-enter the application.
  7. Mandatory: Having the ability to quickly obtain a login and password to enter UmicoPos.
  8. Mandatory: In case of technical malfunctions (of any type), notify Umico staff about the problem (hotline 915).

UmicoPos Web Application

Description: This type of integration implies usage of the UmicoPos web application on a device that meets the requirements (paragraph 1). All purchases using Umico cards are made through the UmicoPos Web application. With this type of integration, there is no technical connection with the partner's cash registry software

Mandatory: Personal computer / Laptop / Netbook / Smartphone / Tablet with an Internet browser (Google Chrome / Safari / Opera, etc.)

  1. Required: Continuous Internet connection (Wi-Fi / mobile / cable) at the branch where UmicoPos application will be used. If mobile connection used, a continuous mobile Internet connection with mobile traffic of 500-750 Megabytes at the branch in which the UmicoPos application will be used (recommendation: Azercell GencOl 2 package).
  2. Mandatory: If the company uses Firewall, add permission to send requests through the UmicoPos application.
  3. Mandatory: Constantly charged device on which the UmicoPos application is installed.

Online integration.

Description: This type of integration involves improvements to the partner's cash registry software according to the API documentation. All purchases using Umico card are conducted through the partner's cash registry software and processed in real time. With this type of integration, there is a technical connection with the software.

  1. Mandatory: Finalization of cash registry software in such a way that all methods described in the API documentation are correctly met and appropriate tests are run
  2. Mandatory: Continuous Internet connection (Wi-Fi / mobile / cable) at the branch where purchases with Umico cards are made
  3. Mandatory: In case of technical malfunctions (of any type), notify Umico staff about the problem (hotline 915).
  4. Recommended: Barcode scanners must be installed at the cashier’s workplace allowing to scan barcodes both from Umico physical cards and smartphone screens.
  5. Recommended: In case of technical malfunctions (of any type) - it is necessary to save all purchases made using Umico cards for their subsequent processing in Offline mode (see Offline integration).

Offline integration.

Description: This type of integration involves improvements to the partner's cash registry software according to the API documentation All purchases using Umico cards are conducted through the partner's cash registry software and processed at specific times (based on an agreement with the partner). With this type of integration, there is a technical connection with the software.

  1. Mandatory: Finalization of cash registry software in such a way that all methods described in the API documentation are correctly met and appropriate tests are run
  2. Mandatory: With this type of integration, you must save all purchases made using Umico cards for subsequent processing in offline mode.
  3. Mandatory: All purchases must be transferred as a file in an agreed format (posted to an FTP server, which Umico employees will have access to) during certain periods (based on an agreement with a partner) for their subsequent processing by Umico.
  4. Mandatory: In case of technical malfunctions (of any type), notify Umico staff about the problem (hotline 915)
  5. Recommended: Barcode scanners must be installed at the cashier’s workplace allowing to scan barcodes both from Umico physical cards and smartphone screens.
