Mobile application UmicoPos (iOS, Android).

Description: This type of integration involves the installation of the UmicoPos application on a smartphone that meets the requirements and its further operation. All purchases using the Umico card are conducted through the UmicoPos aplicationp. With this type of integration, there is no technical connection with the cash register software of the partner.

  1. Required: Smartphone or tablet with Android operating system of version 5.0 and higher with an active Google account (account for the Play Market) or A smartphone or tablet with iOS operating system of version 10.0 or higher and an active Apple ID (account for the App Store).
  2. Required: Continuous wireless (Wi-Fi) Internet connection in the branch office where UmicoPos application will be used or Continuous mobile Internet connection with mobile traffic of 500-750 Megabytes in the branch office where UmicoPos application will be used (Azercell GencOl 2 package is recommended).
  3. Required: If the company uses the Firewall - add permission to send requests through UmicoPos application.
  4. Required: A smartphone or tablet must have a camera to quickly scan the card’s bar code and take a high-quality photo of the receipt after purchase.
  5. Required: Continuous availability of battery charge on the device on which the UmicoPos application is installed.
  6. Required: Online access to the login and password for accessing UmicoPos in case you need to re-enter the application.
  7. Required: Ability to quickly obtain a login and password to access UmicoPos.
  8. Required: In case of technical problems (of any type), inform the Umico staff about the problem (hotline 915).

Important: With this type of integration, the partner must strictly follow the instructions of using the UmicoPos application. All instructions are available here.

Web application UmicoPos Web.

Description: This type of integration involves the use of the UmicoPos web application on a device that meets the requirements (clause 1). All purchases using the Umico card are conducted through the UmicoPos Web application. With this type of integration, there is no technical connection with the cash register software of the partner.

  1. Required: Personal computer / Laptop / Netbook / Smartphone / Tablet with an Internet browser (Google Chrome / Safari / Opera, etc.)
  2. Required: Continuous internet connection (Wi-Fi / mobile / cable) in the branch office where UmicoPos will be used. If a mobile connection is used, the mobile traffic package should be 500-750 Megabytes in the branch office where UmicoPos application will be used (Azercell GencOl 2 package is recommended)
  3. Required: If the company uses the Firewall - add permission to send requests via the UmicoPos Web application.
  4. Required: Continuous availability of battery charge on the device on which the UmicoPos Web application is installed.
  5. Required: Online access to the login and password for accessing UmicoPos in case you need to re-enter the application.

Online integration.

Description: This type of integration involves improvements on the partner’s cash register software according to the API documentation. All purchases using the Umico card are conducted through the partner’s cashier software and are processed in real time. With this type of integration, there is technical connection with the partner’s cash software.

  1. Required: Improvement of the cash register software so that all methods described in the API documentation and acceptance tests are correctly deployed.
  2. Required: Continuous internet connection (Wi-Fi / mobile / cable) in the branch office where purchases will be made using the Umico card.
  3. Required: In case of technical problems (of any type), inform the Umico staff about the problem (hotline 915).
  4. Recommended: Bar code scanners installed at the cashier’s workplace to scan bar codes from both Umico plastic cards and smartphone screens.
  5. Recommended: In case of technical problems (of any type) it is necessary to save all purchases made using the Umico card for subsequent processing in Offline mode (see Offline integration).

Offline integration.

Description: This type of integration involves improvements on the partner’s cash register software according to the API documentation. All purchases using the Umico card are conducted through the partner’s cashier software and are processed at certain time periods (based on an arrangement with a partner). With this type of integration, there is technical connection with the partner’s cash software.

  1. Required: Improvement of the cash register software so that all methods described in the API documentation and acceptance tests are correctly deployed.
  2. Required: With this type of integration it is necessary to save all purchases made using the Umico card for subsequent processing in Offline mode.
  3. Required: All purchases must be transferred in a file in an agreed format (laid out on an FTP server that Umico employees will have access to) at certain periods (based on an arrangement with a partner) for further processing by Umico
  4. Required: In case of technical problems (of any type), inform the Umico staff about the problem (hotline 915).
  5. Recommended: Bar code scanners installed at the cashier’s workplace to scan bar codes from both Umico plastic cards and smartphone screens.
